Moving to a foreign country is not easy at all, we all know that: you leave behind your loved ones, your friends, your habits, culture and traditions, to jump in a completely new world, exciting, yes, but yet full of challenges that can sometimes be discouraging and hard to face. One of the biggest obstacles that people face when moving to a new country is the language.
How hard it is to do groceries, understand what goes on around you, make new friends, communicate with the school of your kids…but there is a solution to this problem: learning the local language
In Ada Bolchini Dell’Acqua, we live every day very close to families that, for business reasons, have left their country and got to Italy, right here in Milan. English, Japanese, Spanish, are just some of the nationalities we liaise with every day.
We are very sensitive about the topic of integration and we want to make sure that the new guests feel at home in this country; therefore, we have decided to organize an Italian class for foreigners, for the parents of the little kids that are attending our school, but not only. The class is in fact open to all those who want to learn Italian, get to know other expats, socialize, make friends, grow together in a new and exciting journey in a wonderful country.
The class, organized by the school Ada Bolchini dell’Acqua in collaboration with Lingue Dal Mondo, will last 30 hours and will take place every Tuesday morning – starting from October 15th – from 9.15 to 11.15.
The objective? Allow the participants to reach a level of Italian equal to A1-A2, which is, according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) a basic-elementary level of knowledge of a language.
We want to give expats the chance to familiarize with Italian, approach it, putting them in the position to understand the basics and setting the basis for further steps in the learning of the Italian language.
